The First Offering in the ServiceJoltSM Series of Services

Saratoga Springs, NY (June 1, 2011)Jolt Consulting Group, a leading provider of management and technology consulting services for the field service industry, today announced the introduction of a new line of focused service offerings that will be entitled ServiceJoltSM and the availability of the first offering in that line entitled ServiceJolt Service Performance FrameworkSM.

A ServiceJolt is a short duration engagement focused on a particular business area. Through a ServiceJolt, organizations can gain valuable insight into an aspect of their operation and also receive pragmatic recommendations for improvement. As part of an engagement, Jolt Consulting Group will perform a complete assessment of an organization and its capabilities by interviewing staff, reviewing existing materials and talking, where appropriate, with customers. All of this information is then synthesized in a written analysis and includes a tangible action plan that organizations can implement to achieve targeted business improvements. Each service offering in the ServiceJolt series will be provided for a modest, flat fee and will last approximately two weeks in duration.

The first offering provided in the ServiceJolt series, ServiceJolt Service Performance Framework, focuses on service organizations performance framework. The Jolt Consulting Group Service Performance FrameworkSM, which was introduced in a May 2011 whitepaper on the topic, describes an effective performance framework as the ability of service organizations to capture data, analyze the information in light of their processes and people, and finally to properly use that data to improve their organization. According to an April 2011 study by the research group Aberdeen entitled “Service Intelligence and Performance Management” more than one-third of today’s service organizations lack an effective performance framework, while nearly 80% believe it is critical to their overall success. The ServiceJolt Service Performance Framework is intended to address this market need.
